I begin this year as editor in chief of the Standard after an interval of three years during which time Michael edited paper ........... 50pounds per month. Michael has now sold out nearly all his share fo 4.500 pounds he obtains only a nominal interest in paper 1/20 and retires to Europe with Marion , Nelly and ....... hold 14/20 and ........5/20 in paper and they work well and properly with me doing their best to please me and to push ahead the paper which is very great consolation. To further their interests I have helped them to try out their ...... share satisfied that with a little luck and great industry I shall be able in two years to have the Standard clear of all debt and a magnificent property for my two sons who have worked so many years and so hard with me. Franky to whom I offered the post of secretary with prospect of partnership prefers camp life and I am inclined to think it is all for the best although I should have much preferred that he accepted my offer and that I could form him for ..................of edition but so many years of the camp have given him a taste for camp affairs and camp life. He arrives today with Hope in ........................ with the San Blas wool ................There is no doubt Frank is a first rate camp man and well qualified for estancia life.
